This piece was originally supposed to be a representational female figure with a spiral in her stance, from her raised hand to her feet (I'd just seen the movie Pi again). It was too difficult to make without good reference material, so I took the route of my sculpture from Day 40-43. I had a good time making this. To me, she looks like a little dancing spirit.

ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. I wasn't planning on casting this piece, but it would look really cool in clear resin. If I had a kiln, I would definitely be doing lost wax casting.
